Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Also, she is the sister of the singer Dionne Warwick. At the age of a small girl, Houston began singing professionally in her church's choir. She was a backing vocalist for Chaka Khosn's song from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mom. In 1981, she worked as a fashion model and appeared on the Seventeen album cover. She also performed back vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls. The quality of her work as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material caught the eye of major record labels, including Arista who she was signed in 1982, and was with them for the rest of her career. The album she released as her debut Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and became the biggest-selling album of an artist who was a rookie. Tracks like the title track, The Most Beautiful Love of All, How Do I Know if You Give Good Love or the song Saving the Day and All My Love were all released from the album. The songs enabled Houston to earn the seven US top tens, which surpassed even those of The Beatles. In its initial US year the album had sold more than 3 million copies. It went on to be listened to by more than millions of people around the world, earning her the first Grammy. It sold 44,000,000 copies. That same year she got married to Bobby Brown who was a former New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown in the month of March, 1993. At this point the drug use was well-documented and she began using daily until 1996.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she has a job at CNN as anchorwoman, reporter as well as a political correspondent. Her past work includes NBC, CBS and other notable channels.
