Aaliyah Dana Haughton burst into fame in 1994, after she released her debut Album Age Ain't nothing but a Number. The album, made available at just 15 years of age, went Gold. The collaboration that influenced R. Kelly's music, brought her into the spotlight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri as well as Timbaland joined forces to record the second album of hers, One In A Million. It featured the track If Your Boyfriend Only knew as the lead single one. Aaliyah was a well-known R&B singer after the album's release. In 2000, she appeared in the romantic action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial artists Jet-Li. She's also appeared in major commercials of brands such as Volvo which is an international automobile manufacturer. She currently lives at Los Angeles along with her husband, daughter and pursues her acting profession.
