Donald Joseph Qualls better known by the DJ Qualls stage DJ Qualls, better known by his stage DJ Qualls was born in the United States. He is a producer, actor and model. Following his fame-making performances on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor appeared in more 20 feature movies like The Core. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, he's been featured in more than 22 television series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. After two years of treatment, his cancer is in Remission. The treatment at an early stage had a negative effect on his body. It hindered his development. After he began performing, financial stability was the goal. He was a victim of hardship in his early years. I've been living so cheaply and for so long, I'm able the financial stability or my life feels beyond my control, he stated in an interview. He also reflects on his youth and hopes to address the issue of bullies. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. DJ's dream role would be to play a father figure in reel as well as in real life. Yet he confesses "Directors don't cast my in the roles I'm in." One day he'd like to become a father when he would be able to devote more time to his work and more time to his son.
